Why do people join your club?

People join because they are interested in expanding their social lives, making new friends and experiencing Perth’s newest and most popular venues, outdoor attractions and special events with like-minded Perth singles.

What is the average age of your members?

The age range of our members varies widely – from mid 40s thru to the chronologically-gifted, 60s up.

Do I have to be a member to come along to functions?

Yes, joining is compulsory.

How much is Membership?

The Dinner Club offers three levels of membership: Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Silver Membership is $75. This is a one-time joining fee and can be upgraded to Gold at any time for $100.

Gold Membership is $175 and includes the joining fee and is valid for 6 months, renewal is just $100.

Platinum (or Lifetime) Membership is $300. This is a one-time fee. This membership level benefits our long-term members but is open to all.

Gold and Platinum Members enjoy discounted rates as well as priority if numbers are limited.

All prices are inclusive of GST.

Why do I have to join up to be able to attend events?

In short, we want and need to know who you are! In our experience, knowing you as a member is essential to guarantee a quality experience for all involved. In addition, we’ve found the joining up process is the best way to eliminate those who are not genuinely interested in improving their social life. By joining, we have members details so is also protecting you as a member.

What makes your club different than all the others?

It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If so, we have certainly received a lot of big wet kisses over the years.

Do I have to re-join if I have not been to events for a long time?

Re-joining is required after 24 months of inactivity.

Can I buy a Gift Certificate for a friend?

Yes, many of our members have realised that it is a good way to give their single friends that bit of extra encouragement to join the club.

What can I expect when I arrive at my first function?

You may be feeling a tad nervous but once you’ve be greeted and welcomed by your hostess/host you’ll feel relaxed and ready to have a great time. Your hostess/host will meet you outside the veniue and walk in with you if it helps.

I am a bit shy. Will I feel uncomfortable?

We hope not and have designed a service that minimises that risk. All functions are fully hosted so you can rest assured that your host will break the ice and get the conversation flowing.

Will my membership information be confidential?

Membership is completely confidential and discreet. We do not sell our membership list to anyone nor do we give last names out at events. We will not sell or release any information that you provide to us nor will we spam you.

What is your Credit Card policy?

Some members prefer to pay cash or provide their credit card details over the phone, most members now enjoy the convenience of paying online via PayPal.

Other members enjoy the convenience of us simply debiting their credit card when making a booking. If credit card authorization and details are provided, that credit card will be automatically debited at the time of booking (including when booking with/for friends) unless requested otherwise. In the event of a cancellation, refunds will be provided as long as 24 hours-notice is given. Ticketed events won’t be refunded unless your ticket is sold to another member.

Can I be sure that my Credit Card information is safe?

For your security, we now utilise PayPal for all online payments.
PayPal safeguards your financial and personal information with
industry-leading use of encryption and offers 100% protection against
unauthorized payments. You can pay by credit card, debit card or from
your bank account or PayPal account if you have one. PayPal does not
charge you any fees for the service and you do not need to sign up for
an account with them. Simply choose the “Pay with PayPal” option when
you submit your Membership and Booking Forms.

On our site, we also employ the latest industry standard military grade
128 bit encryption technology which means you an also rest assured that
communications between your browser and our site’s web servers are
private and secure. You can confirm that your browser is in secure mode
by looking for the padlock icon in your browser window.

What happens if I meet someone I'd like to see again?

Members typically exchange names and phone numbers at the function. If you miss an opportunity, simply contact us and we will arrange for you to attend another function where the person will be present. Under all circumstances, our members personal information is strictly confidential.

Do I just rock up?

No, you must book each function.

What if I have to cancel?

Contact us as soon as possible! If cancelling a Saturday or Sunday function, notification must be received before close of business on Friday. Refunds will NOT be given if we do not receive at least 24 hours-notice before the event. All other cancellations will be refunded except in cases where bookings are non-refundable (eg. concerts, accommodations, tours, i.e. any ticketed events).

What sort of people belong to Dinner Club?

Proactive singles just like you! To the casual observer, we appear to be a group of good friends out enjoying ourselves. And that is exactly what we are!

Does the club have a Code of Conduct?

All members and attendees are required to behave in a manner conducive to the enjoyment of the event for all persons. Abusive and/or offensive language and/or behaviour will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership/entry to any person at its sole discretion.

Are you a dating service/introduction agency?

Not as such. However, our events do provide the best possible forum in which to meet that special someone.

How do I get invited to functions?

Peruse our events in your newsletter and/or here online and then book online or phone or email us your reservation and we will confirm immediately. It’s like having your very own social secretary!
